Understanding CFS

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), is a complex condition characterised by extreme fatigue that isn’t improved by rest and can worsen with physical or mental activity. At Wolds Holistic Health, we recognise the unique challenges CFS poses and provide a supportive, tailored approach to help you manage symptoms and improve your quality of life

Physiotherapy for POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)

At Wolds Holistic Health, we offer specialist physiotherapy for individuals living with POTS. Having worked closely alongside consultant cardiologists, we have gained extensive experience in managing the complex symptoms associated with autonomic dysfunction. Our approach focuses on gentle, evidence-based rehabilitation, including graded exercise, pacing strategies, breathing retraining, and tailored strengthening programmes. Each treatment plan is designed to improve tolerance to upright activity, enhance circulation, and support overall quality of life. We understand how unpredictable and challenging POTS can be, and we work collaboratively with patients and medical teams to ensure safe, holistic, and compassionate care.
